Evolution of the Xbox Logo Over the Past 19 Years

Today, when we talk about high-end gaming console, we are up to date with the Xbox range of the latest Microsoft and Sony’s PlayStation lineup. However, it has been a long time since Microsoft entered the gaming console market has to compete with Sony and other console makers. Now, the company shared, showing the development of the small Xbox logos videos over the years.

Microsoft Xbox’s official Twitter handle recently shared a short video of 25 seconds through a tweet (below). The video shows all the Xbox logos from the time the first Xbox hit the market.

As you can see, the video first starts with the Xbox logo. This is the one that first came with Xbox, about 19 years ago (time really flies). After the first logo, the video goes on every iteration of the Xbox logo since 2001.

Not only does it show the Xbox logo changes with official animations, but the video also shows the original background score that came with each new logo. Therefore, if it does not make you feel blind, the sounds will make you feel like a child again.

According to the video, after the original Xbox logo of 2001 (below), Microsoft replaced the logo of its gaming console in 2005, then in 2013, and finally in 2020 with the unveiling of the upcoming Xbox Series X.
