A video of the hands revealed that most of its specific specifications were leaked online just a few days after the Asus ROG Phone 3 was designed. The video, which was uploaded by Feiwei, on the Chinese social media site Weibo, has since been removed. However, the Post clearly confirmed all the specs that surfaced earlier this week. Along with the video, there is a leaked promotional image (see above) that shows the upcoming device in all its glory.
The original video was apparently only a few seconds long. And while it is now taken down, it has been preserved for posterity by many bloggers and YouTubers. As you can see, it looks very aggressive, no-nonsense like its predecessors. Personally, I have always liked this design, but I recognize that not everyone eats a cup of tea. You can watch the video below and let us know what you think about it.
Meanwhile, a lot has been revealed about Asus’s ROG Phone 3 from various leaks in the last few days. It was recently certified by China’s electronics certification agency, TENAA, revealing most of its major hardware specifications. As per the listing, the ROG Phone 3 will feature a 6.59-inch FHD + (2340 × 1080) AMOLED screen with an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The device will be powered by a Qualcomm processor clocked at 3.091GHz, which is likely the upcoming Snapdragon 865+. It will be offered in 8GB, 12GB and 16GB options with 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage. The phone will run Android 10 out-of-the-box and will carry a 5,800mAh battery. It will sport a horizontal camera setup at the rear and will have a notch or a punch-hole upwards.
