Galaxy M31s Specs and Features
The Galaxy M31s looks a lot like its predecessor, with a square camera cutout on the rear. The physical fingerprint sensor has gone on the rear and now you see a center punch-hole cutout on the front side.
The smartphone has a 6.5-inch full-HD + Super AMOLED display with a 20: 9 aspect ratio and 2400 x 1080-pixel resolution. The punch-hole cutout on the front-hole is a 32MP selfie camera, which is fantastic.
Under the hood, the Galaxy M31s is powered by the Exynos 9611 chipset that is also found in its predecessor. There is up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage to go with the chipset. The device runs Android 10-based OneUI 2.0 out-of-the-box.
As a quad-camera on the rear, Samsung has made minor changes in sensor placement but it is still healed by the 64MP (f / 1.8) primary sensor. It comes with 12MP ultra-wide camera, 5MP macro camera and 5MP depth sensor. For ultra-smooth shots, the Galaxy M31s is capable of recording 4K video with Super Steady Mode.
The Galaxy M 31s has a larger 6,000mAh battery similar to its predecessor. However, Samsung has hit the fast-charging speed. It now offers you 25W fast-charge, unlike its predecessor 15W earlier this year. To round up the connectivity options, you will get a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 support.
Price and Availability
Galaxy M31s Price Rs. 19,499 for the 6GB + 128GB base variant while the higher end 8GB + 128GB variant costs Rs. 21,499 in India. The phone will come in two color variants, namely Mirage Black and Mirage Blue. It will begin on August 6, exclusively on the websites of Amazon India and Samsung.
