The IQOO Z1 flagship smartphone made its debut in May this year. It was the world’s first smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimension 1000+ chipset. The company has confirmed the arrival of the Z1’s younger brother, iQOO Z1x, on 9 July. Now, a series of teasers posted on Weibo have confirmed the key specs of this mid-range smartphone.
As you can see in the posters, iQOO Z1x will be powered by Qualcomm’s 765G chipset. This means that the device will have dual-mode 5G (SA / NSA) connectivity support. Here you will find RAM 8GB to quickly pack a 5,000mAh battery with charging 256 GB storage (rumor), and 33W under the hood.
And Also, iQOO company has confirmed that to come with a 120Hz display with the punch-hole cutout on the top right side of Z1x. The TENAA listing for the device has revealed that it will be a 6.57-inch full-HD + LCD screen. This is further confirmed by a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, as shown in the renders below.
The company has also confirmed the design of the iQOO Z1x. You will get a minimal and clean back panel with a rectangular triple camera system. It is similar to its elder siblings, iQOO Z1. You will get a 48MP primary camera, along with two 2MP shooters on the rear. A 16MP selfie camera will be placed inside the punch-hole on the front.
The IQOO Z1x will be available to purchase in three colors – White, Blue, and Black. According to rumors about pricing and availability, the device will cost around 2,000 yuan (~ Rs 21,100) in China. The company will continue to confirm more features of the device during the launch days.
