Redmi K30 Ultra: Specs and features
The Redmi K30 flaunts the design just like the Ultra Pro variant – complete with a circular camera module on the rear and a pop-up selfie camera. You get a full-screen bezel-less display at the front and Xiaomi has fixed the biggest drawback of its previous budget flagship.

Redmi k30 ultra display
Redmi K30 Ultra has a 6.67-inch full-HD + AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch response rate. The panel further features a 2400 x 1080-pixel resolution, HDR10 + authentication, and peak brightness of 1200 nits. This is what we get in the Mi 10 Ultra, which is inferior to the punch-hole camera.
Under the hood, Xiaomi has made a big change in the Redmi K30 Ultra today compared to the Redmi K30 Pro. It has swapped the Snapdragon 865 for the MediaTek Dimension 1000+ chipset, while still offering 5G connectivity to its users. The chipset will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. This Phone is supported by Android 10-based MIUI 12 out-of-the-box.

The circular quad-camera system on the rear is similar to the standard Redmi K30 Pro variant in China. This means you get a 64MP 1 / 1.7 X Sony IMX686 sensor, a 13MP (f / 2.4) ultra-wide lens with 123-degree FOV, a 5MP telephoto macro lens (to get closer to small objects), and a 2MP depth. The sensor on the rear. The pop-up selfie camera module has a 20MP sensor, which is great.
The Redmi K30 Ultra is also equipped with a 4,500mAh battery (slightly smaller than the Pro variant) and 33W fast-charging out-of-the-box. This smartphone also supports dual stereo speakers, an IR blaster, NFC, and other standard connectivity features.

Price and availability
As it is the 10th-anniversary edition smartphone, Xiaomi has priced it in the same way as the company’s first phone offering. Redmi K30 Ultra comes in four configurations and has been launched in China at 1,999 yuan (~ 21,500 rupees). We have listed all the variants and its prices right here:
- 6GB + 128GB – 1,999 Yuan (~ Rs. 21,500)
- 8GB + 128GB – 2,199 Yuan (~ Rs. 23,600)
- 8GB + 256GB – 2,499 yuan (~ Rs. 26,850)
- 8GB + 512GB – 2,499 yuan (~ Rs. 26,850 and later can go up to 2,699 yuan)
- This device will be available in three color variants, such as Moonlight White, Midnight Black, and Mint Green. It will start selling in China from August 14.
Will Redmi K30 Ultra launch in India? If I had to guess, the much-awaited Poco F2 (the successor to the original flagship assassin) might be the rebranded version of this phone. It will take on the OnePlus Nord in sub-Rs. 30,000 price segment in India. Poco has already started teasing its Nord contestants on social media, which means its launching is not far away.
