PUBG Mobile Launches In-Game Donation to Raise Funds for COVID-19 Relief

PUBG Mobile has partnered with a humanitarian aid organization DirectRelief to raise funds for COVID -19 charity. The partnership said in a joint press release will help to provide medical assistance to health workers. As part of the plan, players will have the opportunity to donate in-game to help PUBG Mobile and DirectRelief in their fight against COVID-19.

The in-game donation will be part of the Mobile PUBG Mobile Play as One game campaign. It will include an in-game challenge and community fundraiser for players, which will support DirectLayer’s COVID-19 response. The campaign is part of PUBG Mobile’s “Games for Good” initiative that seeks to make a positive impact on society.

The press release stated, “The campaign is chanting the slogan ‘Play as One’ to encourage 600 million PUBG mobile players around the world to simultaneously play for the same goal and face a global challenge.”

 

As part of the plan, the ‘Running Challenge for Donation’ game will be in-game from July 15-28. How many players are playing in-game, it will determine whether PUBG will amount donated mobile DirectRelief. “A server starts with the official charity of PUBG Mobile $ 1 million-Wide Milestone Tracker, will grow as much distance as players in the game. Donate is the final amount to be disclosed after reaching the final server-wide milestone. ”

In addition to engaging in-game, players can support the fundraiser through a dedicated website created specifically for this purpose. All donations made through the site will go to COVID-19 worldwide to support DirectRelief’s emergency response.
